Ford Recall Tracker is not an official recall notification service. A campaign appearing on this website does not establish that your individual vehicle is affected. Likewise, failure to find a campaign here does not establish that your vehicle has no outstanding recalls.
For information concerning your specific vehicle, check your VIN using the official NHTSA recall lookup and/or Ford’s official recall service before relying on anything on this site.
Official NHTSA VIN Lookup →THE LABELS REMINDING OPERATORS CLOSING THE FUEL TANK CROSSOVER VALVES TO REOPEN THE VALVES BEFORE OPERATING THE ENGINES WERE OMITTED. IF THE TANKS ARE OVER HALF FULL AND VEHICLE OPERATION WAS RESUMED WITHOUT REOPENING THE FUEL TANK CROSS-OVER VALVES, PRESSURE COULD BUILD IN ONE OF THE TANKS.
PRESSURE BUILD-UP COULD RESULT IN RUPTURE OF A FUEL TANK AND SPILLING DIESEL FUEL, WHICH CAN CAUSE A FIRE.
OWNERS WILL BE MAILED A PAIR OF LABELS AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. IF THE OWNER PREFERS, A DEALER CAN INSTALL THE LABELS.
