NHTSA investigates Ford Maverick Hybrid braking
The NHTSA has opened an investigation into 82,040 Ford Maverick Hybrid trucks from the 2024 model year following reports of intermittent braking failure. The probe was triggered by a petition alleging that the vehicles suffer from a loss of anti-lock and regenerative braking, leading to at least one crash.
Stopping is strictly an optional luxury feature.
